Spektrum Entertainment Round 01

Spektrum Entertainment × Tikka  ·  Round one  ·  24 October 2026

Five ways in.

Two directions for the Spektrum site. Three for Gods of House: The Eleventh House. A first iteration, built as working sites rather than pictures of them, so each one can be felt with the sound on.

00

Open the sites before reading on.

  1. Sound on. Each site opens on a gate that starts the song. On the Spektrum site the song keeps playing from page to page.
  2. Phone first, then a laptop. Most people will meet these on a phone, so that is the first test.
  3. Scroll slowly, then quickly, then back up. The motion is tied to the scroll and plays in both directions.
  4. Use the names. Levels, Afterglow, Doorway, Temple and Procession keep the chat clear. "Temple's lineup with Doorway's tickets" says exactly what is meant.

01

Spektrum's brand, in Spektrum's words.

Every site was built from Spektrum's own material. Where sources disagreed, the Brand Bible had the final word.

No slogan was invented. Every headline is a line Spektrum has already said.

Eleven years of House. And counting.
The music is only the beginning.
Welcome to The Eleventh House.
To the music. To the people. To the feeling.
See you on the dance floor!

"Darker, saturated tones rather than overly bright or neon." From the Brand Bible, and the reason nothing on any of the five glows neon.

02

What all five have in common.

  1. The song is on.A designed gate starts the music with the first tap. A Spektrum site should be heard as well as seen.
  2. The music moves the page. The song is read live in three bands: bass, mids and highs. Each site gives them a job: bars, light, breathing stone, dancing statues.
  3. Nothing stops halfway. When the scroll comes to rest, the page settles on a finished composition. Text is fully in or fully out.
  4. One action, always in reach.Tickets and tables sit in the top bar of every page, and nothing competes with them.
  5. Real nights, real people. The photography is Spektrum's own: the crowd, the booth, the floor. Nothing is stock.
  6. Phone first.Every site is designed at 390 pixels wide as well as at desktop, with no sideways drift.

Part I

The Spektrum site

The house that holds everything: every night, the festival, the label and the company. It has to read as a serious, established culture business to a sponsor, and as home to the crowd.

Levels

The name, made literal.

  • Editorial
  • Weighted
  • Confident
Open Levels

A spectrum is what a sound looks like. Eleven bars in the Bible's crimson, deep violet and blue stand above the wordmark and rise and fall with the song, so the brand is visibly listening.

Everything around that one live element stays calm and editorial. The scroll is weighted, headlines rise word by word from behind a mask, and photographs wipe open as they arrive.

  1. The bars are the identity. They return at the foot of every page under "See you on the dance floor!", so every page opens and closes on the music.
  2. One held moment. The home page pauses once, on the next night. The card holds while the lineup lights up name by name. Everything else flows.
  3. Motion rewinds. Reveals are tied to the scroll, so scrolling back up plays them in reverse. The page feels handled, not animated at.
  4. Two registers. The club is dark. The story and the partnership pages turn to the Bible's warm paper and bronze serif, the register a sponsor reads in.
  5. Albums by night. The gallery groups photographs by the night they were taken, so eleven years read as a history.

Strongest at reading as an established business first and a party second. Trade-off: a quieter first impression than Afterglow.

Afterglow

The house lights stay on.

  • Immersive
  • Nocturnal
  • Cinematic
Open Afterglow

The site is a room. Light fans down from the ceiling in three beams, one for each band of the song, and falls across the photography of the nights.

Every screen is one composed frame, and the scroll comes to rest on it, like turning the pages of a photobook. Changing page sweeps a light across the room and back while the song plays on.

  1. Light, not decoration. The effects are light falling on photographs, the way a room looks at two in the morning. The Bible's "atmosphere" principle carries the page.
  2. One frame per screen. Each section is composed to fit a single screen, on a laptop and on a phone.
  3. Eleven years, lit by the song. Each line of the story is lit by its own band of the music.
  4. Reading stays readable. Wherever there is a list, a form or a price, the room dims and softens behind it.
  5. Albums open over the room. Each night in the gallery opens as an album over the page, with a viewer to step through it.

Strongest at the feeling of the nights and the gallery. Trade-off: the more demanding of the two on older phones.

Part II

The Eleventh House

One night and one action: Friday 27 November, Lagos, the Gods, and a ticket. Each direction turns the key art, the blue stone temple, into a place to walk through.

Gods of House · Direction A

Doorway

The flyer becomes the door.

  • Poster
  • Carved
  • Tactile
Open Doorway

The key art is taken apart and rebuilt as the gate. Its pieces assemble while the page loads. On Enter they leave one by one, the doorway floods with light, and the film comes up out of it. Scrolling back up builds the door again.

Beyond it, the page is a temple in carved stone, room after room: the Gods, eleven years, the floor, the future, and the tickets on the altar.

  1. Their art, in pieces. Nothing new was drawn for the gate. It is the flyer, moving.
  2. The sign travels. The Gods of House mark lifts out of each room and drops into the next, and the room it lands in lights up.
  3. Things go up like posters. Name plates are pressed on and slam in from the edge, the way the night is announced on a wall.
  4. The tickets wait on the altar. All the tiers open from a single button, so the page ends on one clear choice.

Strongest at matching the printed campaign. Trade-off: the most graphic of the three, and the least spatial.

Gods of House · Direction B

Temple

Walk into the key art.

  • 3D
  • Spatial
  • Ceremonial
Open Temple

A real-time 3D temple built from the key art: eleven pillars a side, the stone 11 rising at the end of the nave, and cold light falling from above. Two stone doors part on a flood of light.

Scrolling walks the camera down the nave to each of the Gods, standing in a niche. The four statues of the key art dance to the song, with a hop on every beat, a dip on every kick, and a sway in pairs across each bar.

  1. Their stone, their statues. The stone and the four statues are taken from the key art itself, so the temple is the campaign, entered.
  2. A torch in the hand. On a laptop the light follows the pointer and rakes across the carving.
  3. The Gods appear as they are reached. Each artist materialises in their niche as the camera arrives.
  4. The logo is the loading bar. While the temple loads, the Gods of House mark sits as dark stone and fills with cold light, then settles into the arch of the door.
  5. Tickets never out of reach. The walk is long, so a Tickets button stays in the bar the whole way.

Strongest at the moment people record and share. Trade-off: the longest walk to the tickets of the three.

Gods of House · Direction C

Procession

The Gods enter first.

  • Narrative
  • Rhythmic
  • Cinematic
Open Procession

A scroll story in six movements: a camera move into the doorway, eleven years told word by word, the Gods filing past one per screen, the film opening between two halves of a line, the tickets, and a closing line that breathes on the beat.

The song runs the page. The bass makes the key art breathe and the light from above swell, the mids move the blue over the portraits, and the highs shimmer in the small type.

  1. A procession, not a list. Each of the Gods enters alone: sideways on a laptop, one screen at a time on a phone, and no swipe can skip one.
  2. Counted in houses. A counter runs from House 01 to 11 as the story moves on.
  3. On the beat. The page knows the tempo: a dot marks every beat, a hairline every downbeat.
  4. Tickets on one screen. The heading, every tier and both buttons fit a single screen.

Strongest at telling the story. Trade-off: the most balanced of the three, so the least extreme.

What would help next.

  1. One name for each site. One for the Spektrum site and one for The Eleventh House. Combinations are welcome, named by part: "Levels, with Afterglow's gallery."
  2. Anything that is not Spektrum.A colour, a line or a moment that feels off. First reactions are the most useful.
  3. The open facts.Round two fills these in once they are confirmed:
    • The Gods of House venue, and set times if they will be published
    • The Priority List link
    • A cleared song for the Gods of House sites; the current one is a stand-in
    • Sponsorship packages for Partner with us
    • Open roles for Careers
    • How the photographers should be credited

Round two
